Default SAP connector for Pentaho PDI (kettle)

    Hi,
Is there an SAP connector available for PDI (kettle)? If yes can you furnish details on how to get the connectivity? Basically I'd like to connect to SAP and access/view data.

Specific Version Details: PDI Community Edition 3.2

    Regards,
    Vijay

    Thanks Matt,
We'll not be able to upgrade our PDI version at this point. Hence do you know of any connectors for our specific version?

    Regards,
    Vijay

Sure, you can always buy a license for the ProSAPCON connector. It's listed on the PDI plugins page on the wiki.

I'm trying to connect to SAP system with Pentaho Data Integration 4.1 GA, i have the sapjco3.jar and sapjco3.dll.
I put the sapjco3.jar in libext and file “sapjco3.dll” in data-integration\libswt\win32, after that i started my Spoon but when i create a new connection and i test it, i have this error:

Unable to connect to the SAP ERP server:
Possibly the SAP JCo implementation library (e.g. sapjco3.dll) does
not exist or cannot be loaded. Please copy it to your libext
directory! If you use version 3.0.5 or higher on Windows be sure to
have MS Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package ATL Security
    Update installed.

I'm doing this test in windows, so i installed the MS Visual C++ 2005 SP1 Redistributable Package ATL Security Update but i have the same error, there is something else i must do??

    Hi,

Is there any SAP OUTPUT in PDI kettle 4.2, if not.., is there any alternative for SAP OUTPUT in PDI. I'm looking for a transformation from Salesforce to SAP. Your suggestions are highly appreciated.
