    Default Database Connection Unavailable

    Hello, people!

    A scenario:
Physical Server A - Database Server
Physical Server B - ETL Processing
This ETL has many kjb, and ktr.

One of the files (ktr), has the following steps: Add sequence, Table Input, Database lookup, and Table Output.

Supose what between Database lookup and Table Output. A server connection broken.
This moment, I wish stop only ktr responsable.

    How do this?

I tried the feature (define error handling...) steps. But I do not know if this situation to answer.

    Tks

A broken database connection can't be recovered.
Tell us more about the error or the database you're using and perhaps we can help.
For example MySQL is infamous for having a built-in standard time-out set in minutes.

    attCasters!

    Thank you by your atention!

My intention is not to recover the breaking of the connection.
It is the ability to control the execution of the transformation (current) in the case as an example.

For example, a problem that already existed:
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------
Error occured while trying to connect to the database

Invalid JNDI connection Conn : FATAL: connection limit exceeded for non-superusers
    -----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

After this, the process continue I have want has the control execution transformation current.

In such cases, a value is assigned to the variable. Thus, to make a decision.

    Thanks.

    connection limit exceeded for non-superusers
Get more client licenses for your database.

To limit the number of connections you could try to run your transformation "database transactional", an option in the transformation settings dialog (Misc).
