    Post Mail Sending

    Hi,
I want to know mail sending in pentaho is supporting fot .in domain or not.
In my job email is sending onlly to .com mail ids not to the .in.
Can anyone tell me about mail sending options.

    Best Regards,
    Devananda

yeah, I've been wondering about the send mail step too - though it's not a very important part for me now, I'm curious. I tested it a couple times and couldn't get any result.

It's just a mail client, not a mail server. Your mail server takes decisions like refusing certain domain targets and so on.

sure, that much I thought. But for some reason, even though I configured servers, sender address and receipt address, it just stops when the job gets to mail step.

At the same time, for most folks it doesn't stop there :-)

Yeah it works in general for most people. I hate to ask, but where does your mail server live?

Hello, you also have to indicate your pop server : for example : pop.yahox.cxm (does it exist?) for a yahox email address with your connection informations (account, password). So you can post/send your email ;-)

[EDIT] : you already did it.....

Can you post a picture of your job? I use it daily without any problem....
