Thread: 4.2.0 Spash screen does not go away automatically.

Default 4.2.0 Spash screen does not go away automatically.

We continue our testing of 4.2.0 and have noticed that the splash screen
gets stuck and does not go away when we run this on our Ubuntu 11.04 / Gnome
    boxes.
The only way we can get the splash screen to disappear is to get lucky and
have the tool-tip window exposed. When the tool-tip window is closed, the
splash screen follows and also closes.

Reproduction video here: 1 min 30 sec

    OS: Ubuntu 11.04 64bit
    JAVA: Sun Java 1.6

    Spoon 4.2.0 Revision 15664

Thanks for all the hard work and improvements to make 4.2.0 possible.

Sorry Brandon but as you know this is not the right channel to post bug
    reports.

Besides, the splash screen works on every other OS including my own favorite
Kubuntu so this is most likely another Gnome screwup. No idea if you meant
Gnome 2 or 3 but that's what a bug report is for :-)

    Take care,
    Matt
