Default kettle cookbook / documentation question - Output fields

    Hi,

Is there any way to find out what transform(s) "output" to a given field in a DB?

i.e. field ORDERS.ORDER_NUMBER - I want to find all transforms who write to this field whether they do it with insert, update, synchronise or table output steps.

It's almost do-able if you actually specify the fields - but in table output we tend not to do that.

It's an interesting one. The age old data lineage thing again...

Answering my own question, 6 years later, it can be done via this feature:

I would search through the job and transformation files for the table name and/or the column name.
