Question Insert / Update step is padding spaces to values inserted into SQL 2008 columns

    Hello,
I think I ran into a bug. The Insert / Update step is adding extra spaces to all of the items inserted. I am using SQL 2008 and the Help > About says Kettle - Spoon - 4.1.0.

    Here are steps to reproduce:
    1) Run this sql to create the table to insert into:
    CREATE TABLE customer
    (First_Name char(50),
    Last_Name char(50),
    Email char(50))

    2) Create a text file with this data and save as deleteme.txt
    First_Name Last_Name Email
    joe user j.user@email.com
    bubba smith bubba@smith.com
    clark kent ckent@super.com
    tony stark tony@awesome.com

    3) Run the attached transformation. In SQL Server Management studio, if you do an Edit top 200 rows you can see there are extra spaces in the columns that shouldn't be there.
