    Default Kettle output type to communicate with a controller

    Hi, i have created a transformation in kettle.

    Now i must communicate its output to an hardware controller.

    What type of output i should use to do this?

    Jens demoed the controlling of a model train using Kettle at the last community meetup in Rome.
    He used a JNI (Java Native Interface) library and some javascript or UDJC code to control the train through the library.

    If you don't have a JNI library (dll or .so) you can write one yourself (certainly for Linux) I wrote a JNI lib for a hardware controller myself once and it wasn't all that hard.
