Hi,
Is there any constructs in metadaata which is comparable to virtual cubes(idea is to join 2 or more facts) in mondrian??If not, is this doable in metadata ??

Fetching from two facts must be a straight through process, unless you are joining a fact to a fact!! I do not think even virtual cubes do them for you, it is just to get data between facts which have certain conformed dimensions!
Any ways, to join a fact with a fact, read this post by diethard steiner:

Thanks Madhu,
Is there any equivalent construct of the Mondrian MDX "ValidMeasure" present in Metadata(the idea being to see the measure aggregated across an irrelevant dimension rather than showing empty result set).
I'm not aware of such a thing, but what is the use case ? It should be do-able through other ways..

Madhu
