Default SOLVED - [PDI 4.2] kitchen.sh: -: does not exist

Hi, i've downloaded 4.2 and unzipped it on a solaris machine. When i run kitchen.sh i get the error: kitchen.sh: -: does not exist I can't find anything regarding this problem in the forum Guessing it's a problem with finding Java. Funny thing is that version 3.2 has been working perfect for 2 years now. It fails when reaching setPentahoEnv Kind regards, Met vriendelijk groet, Robin

I'm executing kitchen.sh. It has execution rights.

    Thumbs up Solved

Found the problem. The kitchen.sh AND setPentahoEnv scripts both have a line saying: cd - > /dev/null. I've replaced this with cd . > /dev/null Furthermore i've hardcoded the java_home path in the _PENTAHO_JAVA_HOME variable because it should not contain the /bin and our JAVA_HOME does.

cd - is a bash command meaning cd to prior directory.
If you're not using bash (the default shell on Solaris is ksh), the cd - will not work.
