    Default Can I show a message when a report results without data?

    If the report don't get any data the report shows all fields with the value <null>. I know I can put some other value in the atribute 'if-null' or 'message-null' (don't know what is the difference), but I rather would prefer to show in the Details body something like "No data results". Is possible to do that?

    Thanks!

    Use the "no-data-band" for that. The band is hidden by default, so select it in the structure tree, then go into the attributes-section and set the "hide-in-gui" (first attribute) to false.

    Hi,

    Yes..You can show a message. You have a property in ur chart "no-data-message".Give value as "No data results".

    Then in ur chart width --> under Expression ,just formulate a function as below

    =IF(ISEMPTYDATA()=TRUE();300;600)

    On giving , when ur result set is empty, you will able to get chart with "No data results"

    regards,
    Suganya
