    Question can we pass a parameter value at Group by ..?

    Hi All,

    Can we pass a parameter value at Group by

    IN PRD:-

    select * from mytbale
    Group by ${GNAME} (i would like to group by the result with different columns like (name,issue,project) )

    can this possible in PRD...!!!!

    Default cannot accepted parameters at the group-by position ....!

    The JDBC standard is very strict on static that only values, but never structural elements (like column names) can be parametrized via prepared-statements.

    cannot accept parameters at group by position.

    If you're using the latest release of PRD, in your datasource, instead of defining the SQL in the "Static Query" tab, you can code some scripts in the "Query Scripting" tab and dynamically create the SQL. Take a look at http://www.sherito.org/2011/11/penta...tasources.html (It is showing the example with MQL, but it works exactly the same with SQL)
